Infinix launched the Note 10 Pro and Note 10 earlier this month in India, targeting the sub-Rs.15,000 and sub-Rs.20,000 segments. The Note 10 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio G95 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a large 6.95-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, among other features. I had the opportunity to spend some time with the Infinix Note 10 Pro, and these are my initial thoughts.
Let's begin by discussing the Infinix Hot 10 Pro's price in India. The Note 10 Pro is only available in one configuration: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and it costs Rs. 16,999. You can choose from the colors 7 Degree Purple, 95 Degree Black, and Nordic Secret. I had the phone in Nordic Secret.
The sheer size of the Infinix Note 10 Pro was the first thing that caught my attention. The display is large at 6.95 inches and is ideal for watching content in landscape mode. The fact that you can't reach the top of the display with your thumb while holding the phone in the same hand is a disadvantage. This display has a full-HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a touch-sampling rate of 180Hz. It also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the top-centre camera hole. The earpiece is very small and almost unnoticeable.
The Infinix Note 10 Pro's frame is made of plastic and is curved on the sides to make it more comfortable to hold. The top and bottom are both completely flat. A 3.5mm headphone jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and loudspeaker are located on the bottom of the Note 10 Pro, while the top is completely blank.
Infinix has chosen a fingerprint scanner on the side, which is becoming standard in this price range. The positioning is a little higher than I'd like. I had to stretch my thumb to reach the volume buttons, which were above the fingerprint scanner on the right. The SIM tray is the only button on the left side of the frame. There are two Nano-SIM slots and a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Infinix Note 10 Pro is 8.7 millimeters thick and weighs 207 grams. The back panel is flat, but the sides curve slightly to make the phone more comfortable to hold. A two-step design is used for the camera module in the top left corner. A 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera capable of macro photography, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel black-and-white sensor are among the four cameras. The camera module is quite large and sticks out quite a bit. Infinix has included a 5,000mAh battery in the box, as well as a 33W charger. This phone also comes with a case.

The MediaTek Helio G95 processor powers the Note 10 Pro, which has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Infinix could have offered a lower RAM and storage option to keep the Note 10 Pro in the sub-Rs. 15,000 price range, but if that's your budget limit, you should consider the Note 10. This phone runs XOS 7.6, which is based on Android 11 and has a lot of customization. My phone had the March Android security patch, which is now a little out of date. The Infinix Note 10 Pro also comes with a number of preinstalled apps, some of which did send push notifications but were a pain to deal with.
