How To Grow Your YouTube Channel in 2021 | YouTube Growing Tip

You search on Google “How to Grow your YouTube Channel” and hence clicked this article. That means you really want to grow on YouTube. So I'm not going to talk about anything that isn't relevant to you today. Nor am I going to tell you any trick which isn't useful to you.

Rather today, with the examples of many YouTube channels, I am going to tell you a simple way or a trick after which your views will go up. Guaranteed!

Even @CarryMinati has used and still uses this technique. Hence, though it is also important for big YouTubers, small YouTubers are the one it is most important for. No hovering around the topic, rather getting more views is guaranteed.

And that is the topic for today, How to actually grow your YouTube channel fast

How to actually grow your YouTube channel fast

Getting Known by Using Entities Already Known. But what exactly is it?

It's known as "eating up views from big YouTubers" in layman's terms. However, even if you believe the same, you are only half correct. It's about a lot more than just using well-known YouTubers to get more views. Using big YouTubers is just a small part of it.

Suppose you have an art channel. How would you use this strategy there? It won't be easy right. Then?

See, be it an art channel, gaming channel or a fact channel, this strategy is going to work on all the channels and is 100% effective too.

But it isn't useful without full knowledge. So, let's take a look at the first type of strategy.

 10k with secret strategy

So, @MangoBoi is a channel with over 100k subscribers. You can see in the above photo, the 3 videos on the left side are the ones not having any YouTubers name in them, while the right ones do have names mentioned in them.

The average views of the left 3 videos are around 1.43 lakhs or 143k. On the other hand, the average views of the videos on the right can reach 2.5 freaking lakhs, or 248k. An increase of over 73% and some videos even go above 3 lakh views.

So just mention some YouTubers name in the video and get more views. Sounds easy, NO! But, it isn't as easy as it sounds. Using it without proper knowledge may even get your channel to go dead. But Why?

I answer this question till in end. For now let's talk about another channel, @Prakhar ke Pravachan. Around August of last year, PKP had only about 15k subscribers. He doubled the company's growth in just a month. In just a month, it went from 15k to 30k.

But how did he grow so much?

It must be the same, using known YouTubers. But why does it happen? Does YouTube promote you more if you use a YouTubers name or something else?

Known Technique = More Views

You go on YouTube and search, “How to get more views on YouTube” and now you get 2 videos in the results.

On one side there is a video by a known channel, on the other the video is of an unknown channel. Now which one are you most likely to click?

Ofcouse you click on known channel video. On a more serious note, you are more likely to watch a video that you are already familiar with. A video/channel with a long and illustrious history.. A channel you already believe in. And this is where comes the technique, Getting Known using Entities Already Known.

Similarly, MangoBoi is getting lakhs of views. And whenever he mentions a particular youtuber, the views skyrocket. Again, Known Technique.

Right, MangoBoi gets more than 2x, 3x his normal views whenever he mentions some youtuber. But why does he upload other videos that don't get nearly as many views?

Doesn't he want to grow? And this is where the technique's drawbacks become apparent.

Known Technique = Double Edged Sword

The audience has a limited understanding of YouTube. Only views and subscribers are visible to them. From the perspective of a creator, the most important thing is to be able to build a loyal and core audience.

Views and subscribers are important, but in most cases, building a core audience is the most important task. And this technique sometimes hampers the making of a core audience because people get accustomed to you mentioning some other youtuber. And when you don't do so, you views drop drastically.

MangoBoi has tackled this in a nice way. Even after getting more views in (mentioned youtuber name) videos, he never forgets to upload (the not mentioned youtuber name)ones too. Because the real audience is the one watching (the not mentioned youtuber name) ones too.

So, what can you do to avoid a dead audience? We also want a core audience. How do we do it?

Save your channel from getting dead

This has 2 simple solutions and solution 2 is going to be the main part of this article. But first, let's take a look at solution number one.

You don't want to miss out on a core audience simply because you mention a popular YouTuber or celebrity in your video. Hence, the most important thing here is to have a UNIQUE identity of yours. A PERSONALITY of yours.

For eg, let's talk about @critiK. Yes, new people do click for the youtuber mentioned but they stay for the content. And after that they don't even care what the thumbnail-title combination is, they simply click. And that is the power of core audience.

Because he put his soul out there (not literally lol), unique editing, style of analysis, the way of speak and many other things.

But , this technique isn't feasible for every genre right, how do you use this there? So now let's talk about Type 2 of this strategy.

 The Real Known Entity Technique

The type 2 of this strategy involves using KNOWN TOPICS rather than well-known YouTubers. For eg, if you are a singer. You with a lot of hard work and creativity compose your own song, sing it and publish it on YouTube.

At the same time you upload a simple cover song. A cover song of a well-known and well-known song. Now tell me which one will get the most views.

Ofcouse the song which is already famous. But Why?

Because one, it is already trending and people are already searching for it. And two, even if that song appears in people's feed, it already has its market and you simply by connecting to the song, made the market of the song yours.

Though you are free to upload your own original songs after a while, these well-known topics should get you more views at first (in most cases). Although be sure to check out copyright issues in cover songs.

Let's suppose you have a cooking channel. Now instead of uploading normal videos, seek out for what's happening around you. If college is about to begin, simply post an easy-to-follow recipe for college students. You could have even uploaded the best lockdown recipes when it was first imposed.

And go check it out for yourself; those who have done so already have millions of views (according to the video performance too). The content will only be about food recipe. But instead of a normal video, just mould it a bit and connect it to some famous entity.

Suppose you got to know the favorite food of Virat Kohli in some interview or stuff. You could now make a video titled, Virat Kohli's Favorite Food Recipe. How well you can connect your video to a famous entity is entirely up to you.

After read this article of mine, people simply used famous youtuber name in their title even when the videos were not about famous youtuber. And they reasoned that this would improve their standing. Why?

Because they work on HALF-knowledge. YouTube has a policy against misleading titles and has the authority to remove them if necessary. But some people did great. Instead of making their normal videos, they changed it a little bit.

They used what was trending in their niche at that time and made this video. Instead of how to make thumbnails, one altered it to how to make thumbnails like XYZ. The content would always be similar (about making a thumbnail). They just moulded their content according to YouTube.

Similarly, most of the reaction channels are not having that good of a brand and hence they simply use what's already trending in their thumbnail and title. They connect themselves with something known to become known themselves.

There is another YouTube channel @TalkSick.If you watch his videos, you'll notice that they're all simple and generic roast videos, with nothing exotic. But still, it got over 2 lakh subscribers in a matter of weeks. Other roasters, on the other hand, did not experience this. Why?

Because @TalkSick smartly choose what was trending at that time, that was PayalZone and made videos about her. He did not only hard work, he did smart work.

Even CarryMinati, India's biggest youtuber has grown using this technique. Initially, he was unknown too.As a result, he roasted things that were well-known and in high demand. Even his recent growth was courtesy to a known topic. If there were ten people who knew him before the controversy, there are now twenty. His growth has literally doubled after it. Why? Because of a known topic: YouTube vs Tiktok

So trust me, you can get a lot of views by getting known using a entity already known when you are still unknown. But what good is getting views on a single video? People Watch Our Videos, But Don't Subscribe To Us.
